Alignment and character traits

Zero Suit Samus is a Nintendo character from Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U. She represents the Metroid series. She is Samus Aran without her power suit.

Game AppearancesEdit

Super Smash Bros. BrawlEdit

Subspace EmissaryEdit

Samus snuck in to a research facility to find her power suit. Along the way, she saved Pikachu from a generator. They then fought their way through R.O.B.s. She eventually found a computer showing her suit. She and Pikachu traveled through the facility until they reached the suit. But they were attacked by shadowbug clones wearing her suit. They defeated the clones and Samus put on her suit.

Special MovesEdit

  • Standard - Paralyzer
Samus shoots at the opponent, paralyzing him/her.
  • Side - Plasma Whip
Samus swings her plasma whip in front of her.
  • Up - Plasma Wire
Samus swings her plasma whip above her, grabbing ledges when falling.
  • Down - Flip Jump
Samus jumps over the opponent.
  • Final Smash - Power Suit Samus
Samus puts on her Power Suit.

Matchup with SonicEdit

Green Hill ZoneEdit

In Green Hill Zone, Zero Suit Samus can barely make it across the valley with a double jump. When the stage crumbles, she can easily latch on the stage with her whip. She can also wall jump. The checkpoint can knock her halfway across the stage. Her boots are more slippery so stopping on the checkered tiles would have her move further than she would in armor.

  • GBA - Metroid: Zero Mission
Samus Aran without her mighty Power Suit. In this condition, she does not have the firepower she's famed for but is in full possession of the agility and athleticism she gained through her childhood training with the Chozo. Without the armor, she's also much, much faster. The weapon she carries is a self-protection device known as a Paralyzer that stops enemies cold.
Power Suit Samus 90px
  • Wii - Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Zero Suit Samus's Final Smash. Samus loses her Power Suit when she fires the Zero Laser, but she can restore it—that is, she can return from her Zero Suit form to her familiar armored form. That being said, Zero Suit Samus is very quick with great reach, so there are tactical reasons to fight as is. If that's your preference, don't pick up any Smash Balls.

  • Her final smash has her getting into her gunship and shooting the opponents.
